Amy K. Cummings-Aponte, LMHC-QS, LCPC, LCMHC-S

Amy has built her career around helping people move past what's holding them back, so they can live fuller, more meaningful lives. She creates a therapeutic space where real change can happen — one that helps each person find their own path to happiness.
Amy brings a rich, varied toolkit to her work, trained in EMDR, IADC, IFS, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Gottman Level II, and deepens that expertise with insight drawn from her own life experience. As a Qualified Supervisor in both Florida and North Carolina, she's passionate about mentoring the next generation of counselors. Amy is currently furthering her own education as a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Walden University.
